I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been without a computer until yesterday....as far as my piano skills go, I've been doing pretty well. I've begun moving out of positions quite a bit, which is certainly challenging. It is definitely taking me a little more time to master songs. Having different rhythms that are more complex then quarter notes on both hands at the same time is also a challenge for me. But overall, everything is going well.

Try counting the rhythms out before you try to play them. Also, break it down to the smallest (shortest) note- if you have 8th notes, either count your measures in 8 instead of 4- one count per 8th note- or count "1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and..." I hope that doesn't sound too complicated. I can explain it in more detail on Thursday!
