So I have slowly been progressing over the past few weeks. I went home last weekend and dug out my old keyboard so I brought it to school with me. That means that I can practice whenever I get a free moment or two which will work out much better for me. The music reading is going along, I still find base clef rather difficult to do but that will come along in time. I started working on C and G7 so we'll see where that takes me next week!

That's great! You'll be able to practice more times over the course of the week, which will be very beneficial. Spending time practicing note reading (especially in the bass clef) can be done both with and without the keyboard. Keep at it! You're making great progress.
